US Citizen or Green Card required

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Designs or drafts layouts of printed circuit boards per engineering specifications.
• Confers with the Engineering staff to resolve design details and problems.
• Analyzes engineering design schematics and supporting documents to plan layout of PCB components and printed circuitry.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience:

• The candidate will have completed a PCB design course from an accredited source.
• Educational background should include an Associate’s degree or On-the-Job training within the electronics industry.  
• Preferred working knowledge of Cadence and/or Altium Designer software tools.
• Preferred experience level to be set at 1 year in a development and manufacturing environment associated with printed circuit boards.
• Complete design and layout training will be provided to the selected candidate.

• Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.
• Determines method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid.
• Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
• Maintains manual or computerized procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery.
• Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with vendors to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
• May validate invoices for payment.

Education / Experience:
The candidate will possess the necessary background and experience required to perform the required duties.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years college desirable
